The Cleveland Indians got the 2010 exhibition season underway with a 9-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Friday in Goodyear, Arizona. Asdrubal Cabrera lead off with a home run for the Tribe, and Justin Masterson pitched two scoreless innings in his first outing of the year. Also pitching in for the Tribe were Shin-Soo Choo with an RBI triple, and non-roster invitee Brian Buscher who hit a solo home run in the 5th. Aaron Laffey helped out on the pitching end tossing 2 perfect innings in relief. Kerry Wood had a rough inning of work, allowing a hit, a walk and he hit a batter. The Indians will continue Spring Training baseball today at 3:05 taking on the Reds again, this time as the home team. As the Reds and Indians will share the Tribe’s Goodyear, Arizona facilities from now on, the teams will alternate throughout their spring games as the home and away team when playing each other.
