Indians to Honor Feller with Uniform Patch in 2011

The Cleveland Indians will honor hall of fame pitcher and Tribe legend Bob Feller with a commemorative patch on all of their uniforms next season. The Indians are expected to unveil the design of the patch at a future date. The organization had already planned to honor the anniversary of Feller’s hall of fame induction in the summer of 2011, but the Tribe front office has also announced that there will be a formal public memorial for the legendary right hander at a future date.

Feller passed away in December after a four-month bout with leukemia, he was 92 years old.
