Tampa Bay starter Wade Davis (8-9) continued his hot month of July. Davis delivered a solid outing, as he allowed just two runs on seven hits in his 6.1 innings of work. Joaquin Benoit and Grant Balfour saw time in relief of Davis before Rafael Soriano came on to secure the victory with his 26 th save of the season. Willy Aybar and John Jaso had two hits each to lead the Rays. Cleveland was headed by Travis Hafner’s perfect 4-for-4 effort at the plate.
