Cubs Rap up Series on High Note, Brewers closing inChicago rapped up their series with the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight with a 10-6 up and down victory. Ted Lilly went six innings giving up six hits and three runs. The Cubs, who have won only two of their last six, are entering a four game series with the Florida Marlins. The Marlins who have one three of their last six and are in a tight race with Philadelphia and New York. The Cubs will send their three best pitchers to the mound in Zambrano, Dempster, and Harden hoping to get a larger lead on the Brewers who are closing in fast and are now only one game behind the Cubs. First up is the Cubs send Zambrano (10-4) to the mound against Scott Olsen (6-4) at Wrigley. The Cubs will look to give the offense a kick start against a team that has been inconsistent offensively and defensively all year to get on a roll before a big series against the Brewers starting Monday.
