Dodgers Bounce Back Big In Milwaukee SeriesTuesday night was just what the doctor ordered for Hiroki Kuroda and the Los Angeles Dodgers. After nearly coming back against Trevor Hoffman the night before, the Dodgers were looking to come out strong in game two. The final results were not pretty for the Brewers and their ace Yovani Gallardo. Kuroda’s night was a different story. The veteran righty grinded through his six innings pitched. Although he faced some tight situations, he was able to escape unscathed for the most part. Kuroda finished the night giving up three runs, striking out seven, and picking up his fourth win of the season.
The bottom of the sixth was when the game completely got away from Milwaukee. Gallardo gave up four in the inning. The bullpen gave up an additional three runs before the third out was recorded. R.J. Swindle capped off the night by giving up five runs in the bottom of the eight after the game had well surpassed laugher status. The Dodgers have one more against Milwaukee Wednesday. Jason Schmidt will be facing off against Braden Looper in the final game of the set. Next, will be a four game series with Atlanta that will stretch through the weekend.
