Pedroia has been on fire this week. Pedroia currently leads American League in Batting Average. He hit a grand slam against the New York Yankees on the 27 th. He also went 4 for 4 for two games in row on the 29 th and the 30th against the Chicago White Sox.

With the Phillies in a pennant race, Rollins, as a leadoff hitter, becomes crucial for the Phillies. Rollins stepped up last year when the Phillies were chasing the New York Mets for the 1 st place in NL East. It will be interesting to see if Rollins can do it again.
