Chicago Cubs Historical Records & Data
2008 marks the 100-year anniversary of the Chicago Cubs last World Series Championship; a drought that the Cubs hope to break in 2008. Led by firey manager Lou Pinella, the Cubs won 85 games in 2007 to take the NL Central. With great pitching from Carlos Zambrano and the strong hitting and leadership of Carlos Lee and Aramis Ramirez, the Cubs look to win another NL Central Division crown in 2008.
